Martin Burlas — Sotto voce (2009) |
Martin Burlas — Sotto voce
¬ Martin Burlas has long baffled and amazed the Slovak music world, as he has switched with alarming dexterity from classical composition to hard techno and back. ¬ His last works are mostly based on combination of easy listening of the 60’s tradition with electronic minimalism and seems to be rather emotionally soft. Not very expressive means are used in his works. Mr.Burlas has a rich discography of experimental, new wave, electronic and also classical music and made some great works with Ivan Csudai, Bezmocná hŕstka, Sleepy Motion, Dogma, Azachronic, etc.

Description:
¬ From trio and quartet intimacy up to the symphonic orchestra in a great concert hall. Years span, during which the compositions of the latest Burlas' opus were born, represents a period of 1982 — 2008. Sottovoce is an indirect reference to the preceding album End of the Season.
