Album Notes
»   A resident of New York City, Martina Fišerová is an experienced singer and musician from Prague, Czech Republic. She has performed with Impuls, Laco Deczi & Celula New York, Phishbacher Trio, Jan Kořínek, Bharata Rajnošek and many others, mostly on the Prague jazz scene and also internationally. Fišerová supported the Czech rock star singer Kamil Střihavka as his backing vocalist for several years while leading her own original acoustic band, and was also honored to join the renowned chanson singer Hana Hegerová in concert. In the fall of 2010, Martina joined the Prague Conservatory Jazz Orchestra (under the leadership of Milan Svoboda), to perform her original songs in Taiwan and Vietnam. In 2011 she took part in creating CD “Ty Lidi” (“These people”), the debut album of bassist Jaryn Janek. In 2012, Blue Season Art Agency released her jazz oriented debut CD “Clearing Fields” recorded with Grammy nominated New York City organist Brian Charette, who is also featured on her second album “Shift”, released in 2015. Shift was recorded both in Europe and in the USA and contains eleven original songs written by Martina.

»♦♠♦»   Martina Fišerová is an experienced singer, songwriter and lyricist. Accompanying herself on guitar and piano she can play a solo show or perform with a full band.
»♦♠♦»   She collaborated with following bands: Impuls, Laco Deczi & his Celula New York, Phishbacher Trio, Jan Kořínek & Groove, Rajnošek Band and many others.
»♦♠♦»   M. Fišerová was supporting the Czech rock star singer Kamil Střihavka as his backing vocalist for several years while leading her own original acoustic band Seven Days.
»♦♠♦»   She was honoured to perform in the show of the well respected first class chanson singer Hana Hegerová.
»♦♠♦»   Tina also has theatre experience; the “Kudykam project” — which took place in the Prague State Opera.
»♦♠♦»   In the fall 2010 she was asked to join the Prague Conservatory Jazz Orchestra under the leadership of the great Milan Svoboda to perform her original songs in Taiwan and Vietnam.
»♦♠♦»   She graduated from J. Ježek Jazz College in 2011. In the same year she took part in making the debut album of well renowned bassist Jaryn Janek called “Ty Lidi” (Indies Scope) as a singer and lyricist.

»♦♠♦»   In September 2013 she released a poetry book entitled Martezie.
»♦♠♦»   At the present time she explores the New York City scene and has just recently released her new album of original music entitled “SHIFT”.
»♦♠♦»   She also collaborates with Canadian artist Mimi Oz and is featured in music videos of Mimi Oz and New York underground avant–garde band Genes and Machines.
